Life in a different time
The midwife loses her patience, the farmhand runs away in the middle of the night, and the miller's wife refuses to give up. This is a book about ordinary people and colorful personalities in 18th-century Eskilstuna.
My guiding principle through every step of the process was to visually connect the book to history, without losing the modern touch.
Together with my team, where I was the lead designer, we succeeded in giving the people of 18th-century Eskilstuna life again. (Without making it dead boring in the process)

Writing in their shoes
The most important detail of the design work (and arguably the most fun) were these handmade details I created using ink and a dip pen. This acted as a bridge between the old and the new, and as a nod to the way of writing and expressing oneself as a commoner 300 years ago.
